Bohler-Uddeholm Limited with our partner SSAB hosted the first in a series of symposiums designed to introduce the latest in material technology and educate the manufacturing industry on best practices.

Programme Title:  "Presenting the Future of Tooling Materials and Practices for High Strength Low Alloy and Advanced High Strength Steel for the Cold Work Industry"

Content:  At the symposium, you will be introduced to new tool steels that have been specifically designed to outperform conventional steels when bending, forming, or stamping AHSS/HSLA.  We will discuss the materials in detail from a technical perspective and we will also present case studies showing measurable improvements in various manufacturing applications.  Our partner SSAB will be discussing new developments in high strength steel, with a focus on improving safety standards, reducing fuel consumption, and cost efficient production methods.

Date and Time:  Thursday June 3, from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm at the Delta Meadowvale Resort & Conference Centre, 6750 Mississauga Road, Mississauga, Ontario.

Registration Fee:  $100 which will include meals and refreshments, free parking, and copies of presentation materials. Net proceeds to be donated to the David Suzuki Foundation.
